In contrast to many products from the Far East, a real delight. The Venus 2000 works great and I quickly got to grips with it. The powerful motor is also “refreshing” and leaves nothing to be desired. So much for the positive aspects. One reservation I would have to make is that you do get used to it after a while. I missed a wider range of variation options. Be it through adjustable width/tightness of the liner, retrievable rhythmization programs, or perhaps also a possible integration of additional vibration units. But that would only be minor details. However, what puts me off completely and (I’m sorry to say it) really annoys me is the high purchase price. I’m prepared to invest an appropriate amount if I have the feeling that the price and performance are reasonably in proportion. When I estimate what price I think is justified in the case of the Venus 2000, I come to the following conclusion: wholesale material costs of €300 at most (I think that’s already high), development costs, assembly, shipping, customs duties, profit, etc… Anything over €600 is grossly disproportionate for me and I’m not prepared to accept it. I realize, of course, that as a German distributor you have no great influence on pricing. But perhaps this customer feedback will reach the right people at some point. So I see this test as an exciting experience and can recommend the device as such without reservation. But whether such a high investment is justified is something everyone has to decide for themselves.
